1)The title of the book is Uglies, it suits the story and it is very catchy. As far as I have read, the book is about two Uglies in Uglyville. So the title probably symbolizes the two uglies. The Uglies are suppose to be in the dark side at all times. But this two have tried to escaped twice starting at the times when they met!
2)This book has helped me because I learned a lot of vocabulary words. The book also has dramatic emotional phrases that really influenced me in writing. From the texted I learned how to use words such as:"Blinked","Scowled", etc. Before reading this book I usually only used plain words such as:"Said", "Asked", etc. It has helped me a lot.
3)My least favourite character is Shay. I dislike her because she challenged Tally to do something dangerous and might cause a life-time depression-Never turn pretty again. She also likes hover boarding which I extremely hate because I sprained my ankle on it. Last but not least, I don't like unique characters such as Shay who thinks differently. I like to keep ordinary.

The book Uglies kind of reminded me of the Poem "Destiny Unwind." The poem was about escaping. The book Uglies isn't specifically about escaping, but part of it is to escape from where they are suppose to be, and go secretly to somewhere they are not allowed. In the poem is phrased:
"He's caught himself in a sticky situation,
As he swept his past behind,
No longer mending the broken heart,
Turning his life around the rewind,
Touching down on a new start"
It really connected to the story because Tally chose between two hard roads and forgot about her past. And have a new start.

Like I said before, the book was escaping. There are many escaping news, such as how 120 prisoners escaped from jail in Libyan capital Tropoli. The prisoners weren't suppose to escape, they live in a place similar to Uglyville. But together they all want to go to a place like "New Pretty Town". Even though it won't be as fun as they think.http://www.aljazeera.com/news/africa/2012/10/20121015205915435708.html <-----link to news website

1) What would happen between Shay and Tally's relationship after they turn pretty?
2) What would happen between Tally and Peris?
3) Which choice would Tally take-Find her friend and turn her in, or never turn pretty again?
4) Who supplies all of the Pretty's fun sources?
5) If Tally has parents, shouldn't her parents be pretty and lives in Pretty New town? Does that mean Tally lives alone with a servant?
As a guess to all of my questions, I think Shay and Tally's relationship won't alter. Maybe some hesitation will happen, but at last they are still best friends. Tally will lose track of Peris, since in my point of view Peris doesn't want to be friends with Tally anymore. If I were Tally I would turn pretty no matter what, but since I have read so many books like this I am guessing that she will save her friend.
I have no idea how to give a guess to the last two questions, maybe I will find out at some point!

This is everyone’s goal in Uglyville - Be Pretty. What other goals are there? The Uglies’ dream is to become pretty one day. The perfect eyes, perfect skin, and the perfect body. They can have all the fun they need and their job is being crazy. The picture I have chosen is a photograph of a beautiful woman. As far as I have read in this book this face is the reason they live for! Maybe this woman was naturally like this and never had a plastic surgery, but everyone who lived in Uglyville will be like her after their surgery! Well, the guys will be handsome man. There is no exact quote attached to this picture but the photo is entitled: “25 Pretty Woman.” And I think the title says it all- after all, this girl is pretty.

In the book, Tally is a wild, full of adventure, and brave girl. She will do anything as long as if it's worth it. When the time comes, a vancouver riot is nothing compared to running in the wild and depending on herself. Another reason that Tally would join the riot would be she likes to be part of something. She likes loudness and being rude.

The story's theme is I am who I am. I was born this way and every change matters. I agree because if I had a face surgery one day, I wouldn't like it. It won't feel like me and I would feel fake. The world is better because there are mysteries, unknowns to recover, and many fun things to do such as bungee jumping. I can make it better by letting uglies able to go visit the pretties, and let them live with there parents.
